Wolverine Alumni Association Executive Board
The Executive Board of the Morris Brown College Marching Wolverine Alumni Association (MWAA)serves as the governing body dedicated to preserving the legacy, strengthening the network, and advancing the mission of the Morris Brown College band alumni. Comprised of esteemed alumni leaders, this board provides strategic direction, fosters engagement, and oversees initiatives that support the continued growth and excellence of the Morris Brown College band programs.
Roles & Responsibilities

President – Serves as the chief executive officer, presiding over meetings, representing the association, and leading efforts to achieve its mission.

Vice President – Assists the President, oversees special projects, and steps in as needed to ensure continuity of leadership.

Secretary – Maintains records, minutes, and official correspondence, ensuring effective communication among board members and alumni.

Treasurer – Manages financial affairs, including budgeting, fundraising efforts, and financial reporting to sustain the association’s activities.

Director of Membership & Engagement – Leads efforts to recruit, retain, and engage alumni, fostering a strong and active network.

Fundraising & Development Chair – Oversees fundraising initiatives, sponsorships, and financial support campaigns to benefit the band programs.

Events & Programs Coordinator – Plans and executes alumni events, homecoming activities, reunions, and initiatives that promote connectivity.

Public Relations & Communications Chair – Manages outreach, social media, and public messaging to enhance the visibility of the association.

Band Liaison – Serves as the direct connection between the alumni association and the Morris Brown College band program, ensuring alignment in support and initiatives.
